I come from a long line of English knobs. Though I suspect one of my distant ancestors might have screwed one of those Roman immigrants you were banging on about, so I'm thinking of opening "Knobs Pizza Parlour"Oh, sorry, I mistook it for just being a knob.
That would have been a right old sandal...I mean scandal.I come from a long line of English knobs. Though I suspect one of my distant ancestors might have screwed one of those Roman immigrants you were banging on about, so I'm thinking of opening "Knobs Pizza Parlour"
I agree, we are all being played by different factions to their own ends. The main objective, as always, to divide. I sound like a reactionary, but honestly now, with people being more aware of what’s going on, getting together seems the best option. The so called ‘working classes” is a ridiculous label now, it needs defining. The divide is between those who service, those who produce, and those who create jobs.I think the point has been made that the people in power, backed by the media, are more likely to label people lefties, wokes and snowflakes. I accept your point that labels are not helping, but I feel that that is deliberate social engineering to cement voting patterns.
The latest example is of Donald stating that the hard-left need to be severely punished for the shooting. Now, it seems that the suspect is a Trump supporting white guy who comments on right-wing social media channels and isn't transgender either.I agree, we are all being played by different factions to their own ends. You are doing it see “hard left” … somebody has to stop all this .. we are not America. We need to get a grip pretty quick because if the economy tanks we’ll all suffer. Anyway we are agreed labels should stop. We should stand together in a British manner. The latest example is of Donald stating that the hard-left need to be severely punished for the shooting. The country will stagnate economically without a new generation of young productive workers and as we're not producing enough of them ourselves then we need immigrants to fill the gap.
That argument is irrefutable.
But there are consequences, and you alluded to them when you stated it is the....
And they do that to discredit the concerns of the concerned people, because they don't want to deal with those concerns, those consequences, because their politics prevents them from doing so. So they leave the field open for the far right and the racists to swoop in and steal the narrative, then they point at the concerned people and scream....."Aha! I told you they were far right racists"
NO, I was quoting Donald. You are doing it see “hard left” … somebody has to stop all this .. we are not America. We need to get a grip pretty quick because if the economy tanks we’ll all suffer. Anyway we are agreed labels should stop. We should stand together in a British manner.
You wouldn’t be able to knock on doors or pontificate on this thread if you left.
Please stay ;-)
Vic isn't young he's had decades to fuck off to Fantasy EU and he never did, the name remainer is quite apt because that's what they did.
Maybe it’s the fact the EU faces exactly the same issues we do here that’s stopping them leaving which is surprising because it’s made out to be heaven on Earth at times.
Lets be fair here had he moved to the EU or should I say Shangri La he'd never come back, no one who had the opportunity to settle in the EU area would ever want to try to get into far right Great Britain would they.Maybe it’s the fact the EU faces exactly the same issues we do here that’s stopping them leaving which is surprising because it’s made out to be heaven on Earth at times.

a joke
You can go to Ireland any way, suppose you could pop off and help pay the blocks 800 billion euro debt.Oh dear. You do not move to the EU. It isn’t a country. You can move to a country within the EU and there are 27 to pick from. 29 if you include Switzerland and Norway. Norway is nice. Lots of fjords. Ireland is a good bet. Speak English making cultural adaptation relatively easy.
The EU isn’t a country. It is a trading bloc of 27 countries with diverse cultures and languages and climates spanning the continent from the Russian border (Finland) to the Atlantic Ocean (Ireland).
Thanks for the lesson Bob.
I think it’s just an iteration of the same old shit but using modern tactics. Just under a third of uk parliament seats haven’t changed political hands since the Second World War and around 1/6 haven’t changed hands in over a centuryI think the point has been made that the people in power, backed by the media, are more likely to label people lefties, wokes and snowflakes. I accept your point that labels are not helping, but I feel that that is deliberate social engineering to cement voting patterns.
