I agree, we are all being played by different factions to their own ends. The main objective, as always, to divide. I sound like a reactionary, but honestly now, with people being more aware of what’s going on, getting together seems the best option. The so called ‘working classes” is a ridiculous label now, it needs defining. The divide is between those who service, those who produce, and those who create jobs.

The latest example is of Donald stating that the hard-left need to be severely punished for the shooting. Now, it seems that the suspect is a Trump supporting white guy who comments on right-wing social media channels and isn't transgender either.

You are doing it see “hard left” … somebody has to stop all this .. we are not America. We need to get a grip pretty quick because if the economy tanks we’ll all suffer. Anyway we are agreed labels should stop. We should stand together in a British manner.

So they leave the field open for the far right and the racists to swoop in and steal the narrative, then they point at the concerned people and scream....."Aha! I told you they were far right racists"

Not sure they’ve stolen it to be fair, it’s been their narrative all along. It’s the tolerances that change.

Maybe it’s the fact the EU faces exactly the same issues we do here that’s stopping them leaving which is surprising because it’s made out to be heaven on Earth at times.

Lets be fair here had he moved to the EU or should I say Shangri La he'd never come back, no one who had the opportunity to settle in the EU area would ever want to try to get into far right Great Britain would they.

The EU isn’t a country. It is a trading bloc of 27 countries with diverse cultures and languages and climates spanning the continent from the Russian border (Finland) to the Atlantic Ocean (Ireland).

Oh dear. You do not move to the EU. It isn’t a country. You can move to a country within the EU and there are 27 to pick from. 29 if you include Switzerland and Norway. Norway is nice. Lots of fjords. Ireland is a good bet. Speak English making cultural adaptation relatively easy.

I think it’s just an iteration of the same old shit but using modern tactics. Just under a third of uk parliament seats haven’t changed political hands since the Second World War and around 1/6 haven’t changed hands in over a century
