Correct. And rightly, so.
What’s fair numbers wise?
How many do you want us to take on a yearly basis and how does that number compete to what we are currently taking every year through immigration?
Correct. And rightly, so.
Again, they don’t have to do anything other than decide for themselves that France and whatever else country they have spent god knows how long going though isn’t quite accommodating or generous enough so it’s now time to risk life and limb doing something illegal.
The UK, just like any other country has every right to make law that decides what is and what isn’t acceptable and entry to the UK via a dingy ran by criminal smuggling gangs isn’t lawful.
In fact, I don’t know of one single country where it would be acceptable but happy for someone to point them out if they exist?
Thanks for reminding me they need another donation. There’s not a lot of sailing going on.. they bob around with a tiny outboard until the friendly folks from the RNLI arrive in their big orange taxis…
Crack on chap..Thanks for reminding me they need another donation.
You big up the asylum system so yes you champion it. That's what championing something means. You brought drowning into it not me.
Are you voting Labour if they keep the Rwanda policy? Yes or No will do.
Crack on chap..
Big up the asylum system? What are you? Eight years old or something?
Aiding people fleeing persecution is a worthy goal. It beats supporting those doing the persecuting. We all have to pick a side, I guess. I’m comfy with mine.
Yes.

I was talking about the French… they could do much more to me prevent the boats being launched but why would they??
They are choosing to take a risk and they are putting trust in criminals to do it. Disrupting the criminals through intelligence and enforcement is one way we can really help. What is happening though is no different to occasions where people have tried to stow themselves into aircraft landing gear on the hope that they survive the journey (the odds are extremely slim!).Germany is the destination of choice and it suits their labour needs. I don‘t see why being landlocked makes a difference?
They are making the journey anyway. Eliminating one leg of peril is simply the humane thing to do, as opposed to watching bodies wash up on our beaches. It’s not hard to treat people with dignity. The fact that we don’t (not that we are alone in this) says more about us then it does about them.
