What if pellegrini fails?

He could be a disaster and we still wouldn't finish outside of the top four. The side is way too good for that, I honestly think you could put any manager currently in the PL in charge and finish in the top four.

FFS we've not even kicked a ball yet.

This is the wonder that is Bluemoon and what makes it so addictive!

If he does fail which I don't think he will, soprano and tricky will be out the door quicker than shit through a goose.

There's only 2 clubs that COULD finish above us next season even if we have an absolute mare. Chelsea and the Rags (assuming Baconface starts to run things from behind the scene if/when Gollum Moyes shows signs of failing.

The team could manage itself and still finish above the likes of Arsenal and Spurs.

He would be sacked for finishing outside the top 4, and rightly so.

Even Wenger with an asset-stripped Arsenal made the top 4.

^This. And take Soriano with you on the way out - yet to prove anything to me.
OMG......a comment of mind-boggling proportions.

Never heard of irony 'round your way ? Rag.

He wont.

End thread

You never know ... he's old senile and grey ... and never managed in the premier league before ... he's got no idea how to handle Stoke on a cold night in November. I fear the worst.
WTF. He's a top class manager, and we're lucky to have him at the club. Genuinely rate him as one of the top managers in world football. Players play for him, and he doesn't take shit from big egos (just ask Riquelme). People always say he failed at Real, but he broke their points total for a season, in his first and only season there. Got very unlucky to come up against a rejuvenated Guardiola Barca in every tournament.

We'll be one hell of a lot better in the Champions League as well as his previous experience, and relative success in that competition has proved.

If MP fails, we'll go out and hire another manager. After all, that's what most clubs do in such a situation, correct?!

Stupid question topics require only the simplest of answers.

What if he's abducted by aliens and returns to earth as a kumquat?

He'll be devoured by the British football media. At least he won't have his skin peeled off first...
