I rate Ferran as a striker. The kid can finish at a really high level and has only had a few games in that role, he may need time.

Early days get but Jesus is certainly a more direct winger than Mahrez and Sterling plays better with a first-runner ahead of him. If both of those players output at a higher level due to Ferran this season than we should be fine.

How good is he technically?

Very good, not Foden or Palmer level but for an out and out striker very notable. He's also fast and very aggressive, overly aggressive at times but he just needs to learn when to wind it in a bit.
