What is the best goal you have ever seen city score

Don't think it's necessarily the best but when I saw the tite, closed my eyes and saw berkovic v ipswich
A volley from a corner at Portman Road in the FA Cup? The bastards at the BBC moved us to Sunday night even though they'd spent almost ten years slagging off Sky for stupid kick-off times. And the half-time announcer almost crying as he said TV pics had shown it should have been a goal kick rather than a corner. A 4-1 away win; well worth the trip.

I am from Carlisle and that game was live on the TV, my life was hell at school for ages, we finished 3rd and went up Carlisle tailed off and finished 6th or 7th I think before a steady decline in their fortunes.
Remember the game well mate! I was in platt lane right behind nets when phillips smashed it in! Was on tv for months jumping about in celebration!! was a freezing cold day as well

Dunno about best; there have been so many.

Most important: Morley at Bradford to make it 1-1 with 5 minutes to go. From Paul Cooper cutting it out at the back and running it through the spine of the team for White to put it on a plate for Morley, I think probably the most important goal in our recent history. If we loose that game, with the financial position of the club at the time, we very well could have been dead and buried now, or at least floundering in the lower leagues; certainly not top (joint top my arse) of arguably the greatest club league competition in the world.

Not sure how to add the video but one of the cleverest goals I have seen was by Anelka at Blackburn when he scored from the acutest of angles through the keepers legs.

gio v Southampton and Sergio goal against Swansea on his debut shot from edge of box. special like the man himself. get well soon sergio
