Not so much a song but i find cheesy music played after goals are scored embarrassing. I mean cant the fans cheering the goal be enough. Worst is when PL teams use it. Its tacky.

I used to own the Dicks Out book with loads of different clubs fans songs in and Hartlepool Utd had some pretty awful ones relating to the Cleveland Social Worker Scandal I think it was on the lines of this
"We've got a reputation for soliciting little boys
For raping old age pensioners and nicking kiddies toys
we're the perverts of the nation the worst you've ever seen
we're dirty foul mouthed bastards and we called Hartlepool
Also their Millhouse Fusileers song
For us I would say the "buy your club and burn it down" song is embarrassing and the "Why don't you rip off your knickers" is not pleasant for women to hear

I haven't heard that sung at a match or in a pub for at least 35 years.
I would bet that anybody under the age of 45 has never heard it,or even know that the original song existed.

We have had quite a few horrible ones about the Munich Air Disaster over the years but I think the "dig up Matt Busby" one makes me cringe the most. I was appalled when I heard a few of our younger fans singing it in the concourse at West Brom last season and looking quite proud about it too.
It's quite unbelievable that any person would utter this sick rubbish, especially when it's about a distinguished ex-City player !

By some strange coincidence, this is borne out in Gary James' excellent book "Manchester, the City Years". I am currently up to the 1973/74 season, a time I remember well.
From memory, didn't Joe Mercer and Matt Busby live next door to each other, or do I need some more medication?
Let's be honest. Some (but by no means all) of our younger fans would not know the club's history to that extent, and the lack of hatred between the fans that existed before the GPC arrived at Old Toilet.
