What is the one film you can watch over and over

I'm a sucker for old westerns, just watched The Big Country again (especially after they're remastered), love those actors like Henry Fonda, Glen Ford, John Wayne, Clint, Gregory Peck, Burt Lancaster etc etc.

Awesome theme music in this;

This and only this.

Stwike him Centuwion.

Still cracks me up that scene. How Michael Palin kept his face straight is beyond me.
“He has a wife you know…”

The look on the guards face when Palin says this to them gets me every time.

Same with John Cleese’s expressions when he’s talking to Palin in that scene.

You have to watch so many nuanced things watching that film to really apply it.

All my kids also love it.

Another vote for Where Eagles dare,Broadsword calling danny boy.

thing about that is read any contemporary stories - signallers had to climb trees to establish radio comms withe the next valley if they were artillery spotters for example - Burton pulls up an aerial in a Bavarian forest and speaks to London - never mind an American Bell helicopter from the 60's being used by the Nazi's - great escapism.

Isn't that another film lol?
