What is the one film you can watch over and over

I have a large number, and I haven't looked through the thread, but I'm pretty sure no one will have mentioned my number 1 go to in terms of unfailingly making me happy:

The look on the guards face when Palin says this to them gets me every time.

Same with John Cleese’s expressions when he’s talking to Palin in that scene.

You have to watch so many nuanced things watching that film to really apply it.

All my kids also love it.

I find the divide between Brits and Yanks on Brian vs. Holy Grail very interesting. I love them both, but for whatever reason Grail is the one I like better, and this coming from one with 16 years of Catholic education. I think every Yank I know would agree, whereas every Brit (including the Pythons themselves) would say Brian.

I love the holy grail as well. Maybe my atheist views align more closely with life of Brian…and the Uk is certainly less religious than America.

Not one I'd generally seek out to watch again but if I come across it while channel hopping then The Martian is very watchable. Daft ending obviously but the rest of the film is pretty good.
