What is the solution in everyone's opinion

Tell Given he's sacked if he hoofs the ball forward EVER again:had to hoof it last night so we dont give them the throw.

Tell Adebayor he's sacked if we see him in our half of the pitch. Or on the side lines. had to come and get the ball himself as he wasnt seeing anything comeing his way unless he did.

Tell Ireland he's sacked if he doesn't shoot when within 20 yards of the goal. didnt get the opitunity to shoot from 20 yards last night.

Our ball retention away from home is laughable at times and it seems to be down to lack of movement coupled with a need to produce something with every pass, like we're trying to force things.

We never keep the ball and wait for the gaps to appear. I've hardly seen us pen a team in away from Coms. We rarely have any form of maintained possession in the opponents half away from home. Until this is fixed, we'll always struggle away.

Stop our wingers, you stop Man City. Its as simple as that. We need that added dimension from midfield.

1. ? Eh? Why can't he throw it to one of the back four? Every time Given hoofs it long, we give the ball away.

2. I wasn't talking about last night. But anyway, what is the point of having a big strong front man who is great in the air, if when we want to cross to him, he's not bloody there? I'd rather he hung around doing nothing than came looking for the ball in our own half.

3. Again, not talking about last night. Generally, Ireland needs to get his shooting boots on. Far too much "To you", "No to you", "No after you"> "Bugger, we've given the ball away again".

Simple, see what progress we make and decide in the Summer.

If Mancini has begun to show signs of improving both our results and performances, even in a small way, then he should stay. The last thing we need is yet more upheaval if there is no need.

The solution to everything is stability!!

Oh, and a fuckin atmosphere!!

I've been saying this for ages!! I noticed it properly under Sven that, tactically, our lack of movement to receive a pass when one of our players has the ball seriously affects our progression to win games! the lack of movement totally stops us retaining possession for long enough to do damage with the ball!

also the fight to win the ball back!! look at Barcelona, a team littered with stars! when they lose the ball they fight like fuck like a pack of dogs to get it back, even Messi! so if it's good enough for world stars to do, it's good enough for fairly good Prem Lg players to do surely!!?!

A solution is a homogeneous mixture of two or more substances. A solution may exist in any phase.

Seriously though, stability. We can all see now why Mancini was trying to get some more midfielders in during the windonw. We are short of ball players in the middle. I don't know why we are so slow on the ball.
I'm pretty sure I don't want to see us playing with 6 defenders on the pitch again, although it wouldn't suprise me if we did on Saturday.
I don't think top 4 will be ours this season and let's hope we can get 3 or 4 decent players in during the summer. The players we have got are a good base but we need to add to this with a couple of decent midfielders as already mentioned on here. I would like to see a decent right back and a classy striker.
