What is wrong?

1# we dont have the same intensity as we show in our home games
2# our 2nd stringers are ordinary to say the least
3# we get frustrated if opposition Keeps us quite in first 30 mins and creativity goes out of the window
4#we lack chrachter

The answer is easy, if you play 5/6 subs at this level you won't be good enough, and won't get a victory.

Disagree it's not the players. Our team was man for man miles superior. It's purely tactical.

because we have some average players in the squad, the likes of Garcia, Lescott, Kolarov, Dzeko, Richards, are not good enough for a team vying for the title.

add up how much garcia, lescott, dzeko and kolarov cost, just to make you feel better

it makes me wince. nearly 80 Million pounds.

Now add their wages...

(Prepare to wince again)

For me it's a bit of both. two players make me nervous as fuck and it looks like they effect the whole team the same.
We know who they are. It's very hard to try and play when you're worried any mistake will be magnified by the inept
combatants supposedly covering you.

Tactical perhaps, but changing 4 out of 5 of the defensive players to the second rate ones doesn't help. Arguably 5 of our back 6 today were reserves, stupid.

What's wrong with the team. Does anyone have the answer, I like the football we are playing and I think we are playing some of the best football in the league but why can't we win away?!
You're opening a can of worms here. The arguments run wild on various management threads. But if you want my take on matters, I think MP has been unlucky on the injury front, and City are never the same as a team without both Silva and Vinny. Without these two, the team never functions as we know it can.

We seem to get by when VK is injured, but Silva's absence seems to cast a cloud over the other starters. We had enough in the team to have beaten Sunderland but there's some element upon which no one on this planet, let alone anyone inside MCFC, has ever been able to lay a finger and say 'Aaaaaaaaaah', that's the problem!

Doesn't help but a squad like ours should cope with second bottom. Pelle doesn't understand that away you have to not lose and then win. At home sure you can go mad.

Starting Garcia again I have no answer for.

You may think that they are second rate but does Pellegrini? He started Micah Richards against Bayern Munich and left him on the pitch for 90 minutes.
