Even Wenger said it recently if you are not prepared to fight for every contest you might as well not turn up.

A very ordinary side who had conceded in every game so far this year were prepared to do that and that's why they came out on top.

The premiership is about scrapping for win especially away from home.

I don't think we have a pattern of play and if we do the players that come in when the likes of Silva and Kompany are out, don't fit it...to many of the squad players aren't good enough...and then there is the lack of bottle and desire when the chips are down, we look like a team that loves bullying teams but when teams dig in and make it hard we fall apart

the other thing that disapointed me today was when the manager took Negredo off, why not leave him on take a midfield player or even a defender and play 3 up top and have a real go...Mourinho and Ferguson in his day would have but we make like for like substitutions no mater what the situation

Finally players getting into the oppositions box I don't remember many midfield runners getting into the box, plenty of standing around the edge of the box but no one either prepared or capable of getting in the box with the forward players...how many times did Navas put the ball in the box with just Dzeko or Aguero in there we are never going to get goals in that situation without bodies in there

Drop the 4 4 2 away from home defensively we are too frail play a 4 2 3 1 pack the midfield and take it from there

As soon as we can't play our strongest XI, our bench players are exposed for what they really are : average at most.
