Highest paid player (allegedly)
Granted regular leave to see his daughters
Named club captain
Given a 5 year deal
Starts more or less every game

What else do we have to do?, Buy a Doctor Who time machine to transport him to & from Argentina?

Their just becomes a point when you completely despair at these twatting agents & their demands.

Just because we have rich owners doesn't mean we can be taken for a ride by any greedy agent or player (don't know if that is the case here but it doesn't look good).

The club has to have standards and if that means short term loss then so be it because if not we become a joke.

There's no 'allegedly' about it. The club have just stated he is the highest paid player at the club and that whilst wanting to leave for family reasons he has just asked for a pay rise and a contract extention. Seems pretty clear to me what this guy is all about.

Well to be fair would any of us be happy to get by on just £100,000 + per week?

The club can afford ANYONE, our current form bodes well for Champions League next season, and almost NO-ONE could afford his transfer fee and wages.

What is his leverage again? Does he think City cannot survive without him?! Just losing his "highest paid player at the club" wages means we could bring TWO top quality strikers!

AND it might mean Balotelli would start thinking twice about f**king around any more! He is quickly developing (developed?!!) a reputation as a total prick....Mourinho is pretty well respected in the world of knowing footballing talent, and Mancini could not have been more positive about what a world beater he is. However, MB's bullshit on the field is reflective of a spoiled brat, NOT a player trying to bed down in a new league with a new club.

Disrespect for the club and the manager should NOT BE TOLERATED....by anyone!

this sadly seems to make the most sense

We have to make a stance and not allow player power to rule - if anyone can do this its CITY we are not as reliant on one player and have funds in abundance to replace him if needed

maybe there is nothing we can do to change his mind, maybe he is dwelling on missing out on his daughters upbringing and it is eating him up. sometimes there is a point when there is no deal on sweetener that will make someone stay where they dont want to be, this is life. i hope he finds a nice ashton girl over christmas and tubs her, a new instant family!!

i also think a teleporter would be more appropriate rather than a time machine, ive seen some Dr Who episodes and the fucking thing never works right, he will end up in prehistoric China probably!!!
