Barry is decent at passing but is never going to get 10 goals in a season and with him and De Jong, a great tackler but a Sunday league player passing wise, our midfield simply isn't good enough.

We need a creative midfield player who can play the strikers we have in on goal. Our strikers are good enough but they dont get the service needed. We have no one who can link the play between defence and attack Silva and one other will be the final piece in the jigsaw.

faster speed of play in the final third. we just don't get players in and around the box fast enough and so don't stretch the defence. the rags got back in numbers each and every time and out numbered us. we can't keep relying on individual moments of brilliance from silva, tevez and johnson this season to turn games. we have to get numbers forward quickly to cause multiple problems. when we do, we'll see more goals from midfield.
