Jerusalem whilst being a very stirring anthem is too religious for my taste.

I wanted it sung at my wedding but the vicar said it wasn't religious enough.

The trouble with all anthems apart from GSTQ is that most people only know about 2 lines of the words. At least with GSTQ they can usually manage 5 lines.

NO can only manage 3.

Jerusalem is far far better for England than using the British National Anthem.

For anyone who is clever enough to know, I'd like to know two things;

1) Why do the athletics team get to have Jerusalem?

2) Who would make the decisions if the country demanded Jerusalem for the football team?

I think it would look great to see the national team line dance to the Archers theme music. We'd always go 2 up in 10 minutes before the opposition stop pissing themselves laughing.
