All the rags I know want us to win it over the scousers. They're hatred for them is genuinely greater than it is for us. After this season I can kind of see where they're coming from.

I agree. It's easy to lose sight of how bad United are when they're languishing in 7th. Need to remember that they are the main enemy.

????! I'd just hope it was pool, avoid all media for the summer and pretend the season never happened tbh, why in the fuck would you ever want the rags to win anything? I'm sick of them winning, not used to it and if you'd asked me a couple of months ago I definitely would have said I'd prefer Liverpool and would still, if I had to choose pick them every time (and then avoid all media for the summer.)

I don't want the rags to win anything. I never have done. But at least if they do ever win it again, it'll be easier to accpet than the scousers winning it.

If I were an Everton fan and it was the last game of the season and it was impossible for Everton to overtake Arsenal and they had absolutely nothing to play for and a City victory would be the only result that could stop Liverpool from winning the league, I could just about imagine wanting City to win. Or perhaps not being too disappointed it they did.

But I just cant imagine doing it in the current circumstances. How daft would I feel if I'd supported City, City beat Everton, but Liverpool still won the league? Or Arsenal lost their final two games. Or Everton were overtaken by Spurs and United. Unlikely, but surely as a fan you grasp at straws, or fear the worst?

It was just a band of diehard out and out bitter blues wanted a Citeh win before we went to Saints...became quite a rockfall after Chelsea went the Pit on Sunday...and is now an avalanche after the Barcodes last night.

Everyone I have spoken to today wants a Citeh win.

it's more about bragging rights for the most league titles. We only have 3 at the moment and winning the 4th would still leave us 25 years from even being close to either. Liverpool are only 1 behind Stretford in overall titles so if they win they would be tied again.

If we didn't win the league 2 years ago they wouldn't be favouring us or Liverpool, if we win it again it'll never be anywhere near as bad as Aguerooooooooo for them anyway.
