What time is it?

i have no qualms about letting go any of those players which have left over the last 6 months, as, for various reasons, they weren't going to improve us. but it's imperitive now that we bring in better replacements. we need several. otherwise, we are trusting to luck with injuries, and our track record with luck ain't really up to much.
potentially, we have a great 1st 11 or 12, but there really isn't much of proven quality after that. AJ out for 3 months and Balo looking injury prone, together with little pace in the squad - we've got the money; do the business.
we have a great opportunity to do something this season. we should go for it and get any target in now. the squad is too thin as it is.

It would be well worth a thread on the main forum about this very issue, but I can't be arsed getting tubthumped to death.

Tubthumped to death.....:- )

(a thread on the subject would be interesting though!)

I'll pass on that one thanks ;-)

I'm sure whoever starts that thread, if they do so without being condesending, arrogant or dismissive. They won't die from a severe case of 'tubthumping'.

I know that might be hard for a few of you ;)

Well, the thread in question has been started and is open for business.

Lets see who's got the ball sack to contribute.........:- )

I certainly don't understand what the board's logic is on our activity?

Why would it seem prudent to weaken our squad ahead of imo the most important run-in in recent history?

Beggars belief.

Whilst it may appear to be a weakened squad on the surface I personally believe it could be seen as stronger now. A small tight sqaud can work better than a larger 'looser' one...I think there is method in the madness. I think the AJ injury has caught them on the hop but apart from that Mancini has been saying for a while now that this is his ideal sqaud.
