Bring him on against QPR if all is going well and hope he pulls his weight, scores a goal and get's to feel part of the team.
No no no no no - only if we are three or four nil up and coasting - however this thread is already open - here - <a class="postlink-local" href="http://forums.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=255824" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">viewtopic.php?f=1&t=255824</a>
My thoughts are (plus responses to other posters) - I think its best that we give him more time - agreed that this season he needed to be dropped but you do all seem to be conveniently forgetting earlier games where his introduction has been pivotal in gaining the three points (Everton at hone sticks out). Sick swan would have never happened also. The kid lost form and with that lost hope and lost discipline, he has lots of 'issues' to sort out - sides of his game that need to be improved upon but we should try and help him rather then look for a quick fix - money solves all solution. Seems in the old days before the money more people would have supported this solution and have hope that he can come good. Now we seem to want instant success or your out? If this is what we are going to become then we are heading towards what we've always hated.....yes just like the red side. Keep it real blues - Mario needs help not a backhanded slap and goodbye!
agree that he doesn't give 100 % and thats the big one that he needs to sort out but that's all down to his attitude which amazingly CAN change, especially somebody of that age. Dont think we pay him 150k to be honest, that's just spouting paper talk mate.
There's no way that you can tell me you would have had this attitude to a player like this before the money?? Surely somebody with that skill we all would have been saying if only somebody at the club can teach him that giving 100% will make him a much much better player. We would have been willing to give such a kid more time is my point and I think he could still come good, its a risk yes. So yeah I stand by my comment in that regards but I would give him one more season - not as many games mind as he only got so many as our forward options were scarce. It is becoming like them to show little understanding of the multitude of problems which young people can face - do you think because he gets paid lots he should be happy? - That's a simplistic argument. I am arguing for a little patience and a wait and see approach which I think Roberto will employ this season coming unless a silly bid comes in and then I am happy for him to go. But we should not be trying to push the lad out, the squad like him its obvious but yes maybe they are a little tired and fed up of his shit - that's a good thing as that might help him sort his head out.
If most city fans ONLY want 100% then any old tom dick and harry would be able to do a job - we want more now as we have expectations - we want skill, flair and 100% effort.
My arguments simplistic? pmsl - dont beat me up with that big club will you - I have a different opinion to you, we agree to disagree, yes?
Tevez is twice the player Mario is easily and I think Mario has been a victim of our predicament as he has gotten far too many games this season. Especially when he should have been dropped from the side but Edin was low on confidence so Bobby only had one striker to trust - Sergio. Things could be handled better next season......there's just another way, a more positive way of looking at this situation that's all I am saying. Its amazing how quickly he's gone from hero to zero and that scares me - it that how us blues are now?
