What to do with Balo

It's up to him isn't it. Ask him if he want to be here, if he does then he stays on our terms and puts in the effort every game. If he doesnt then the door is open for him to go

Don't know what to make of the fact that he wasn't even on the bench today.
I do remember that he was goofing around at the touchline when we had a trow in in the derby and yaya came for the ball. Mancini prob didn't like that at all or maybe he was just not training well this week or whatever.

Fact is that with the return of tevez and the absence of mario we've been playing like in the beginning of the season and I think that will prob mean the end of mario at our club

Just saw him in Didsbury with one of the sexiest females I have ever seen. Holy fuck. Guy will never learn.

Good lord ...

i only live around the corner , i'd have gone an' had a look at her ... err , i mean him !

No Balo deserves his place at City despite the fact he has the ability to be a complete jockey he is unplayable at his best. Basically he can be one of the best and Mancini is the man to make him that

It's possible he was dropped because two more stories about him appeared the day before the game (more escorts + playing with fire in his hotel room), one of which had photographic evidence so couldn't be denied.

He is so far detached from the mentality our team has been showing in the last few games, pure professionalism, motivation, and drive to achieve our goals. He has a lot of work to do if he's to suit the evolving mentality of this club.

He has to want it though, and he has to earn it.

2 questions about Balo for me

Can he turn his behaviour around to the point where Mancini and the other players trust him on the pitch?

Can he fit into our system?

That statistic showing Aguero being very poor in partnership with Balo is a bit worrying. The elephant in the room has been how well we've looked since he left the side.

Hard to say at this point, only Mancini knows. We don't interact with him on a daily basis or see him in training.

I won't rant here i promise.

I think we are at a stage as a club that can't afford a player with his head in the clouds. We need 11 with the mentality they are showing now.
For me the players seem quick to fustration with him which leads to so much stuff like...Can we trust him ? should i pass to him or not risk it whilst defender x is there ?.
That type of stuff also comes into it.

Bobby if he has any faults is his over indulgence of Balo whilst not affording other players the same courtesy which strained relationships.
This is something that can not continue. For squad harmony and a calm headed squad with winning their only focus we must sell him.

If he had Kompany's mentality we would already have won this league imo.
Alas he is to young mentally for this level of footy consistantly so it would seem.

I would say loan him out but Balo is so nuts who knows how many years it will be until he bucks his ideas up.

I think a sale is the best option for all parties as he has shown he does not learn which makes it feel to me like a futile excercise with Bobby trying to sort him out.
If he has not done it yet then i think Balo will only mature when Balo wants.

Who would buy him though ? i have no idea as Milan are broke.

Probably a bit early for this discussion but I would be very interested to know how people are looking at Balo and his future. Like a lot of blues I was really pissed off with him after the Arsenal debacle and to be honest I briefly thought about getting rid. However I look back to some of the things I did when I was 21 and I cringe! Look up the word TWAT and it will have my name next to it.
Ive come to the conclusion that we should give him one more chance. Am I being naive?

Too early

Its up to Balo knuckle down and become an influential player in the team or dont and ultimately get sold

However his contribution has been invaluable - the penalty kicks 0 the SPuds game the opening goal of the derby and getting Evans sent off etc

Now is not the time

He's done himself no favours this week either. Let him go to the euros if he's selected and see where we are then. Let's hope he doesn't bang any of those Russian prostitutes as they are riddled with all sorts
