Just bought Unknown Pleasures,Searching for the Young Soul Rebels, Cranberries compilation and a Doors one as well. Bought the young lad a record player for Xmas so will get a few more lps to play.
Concerto For A Rainy Day is a thing of beauty.‘Out of the Blue’ by ELO. Cracking double album full of hits and not a bad song on it, plus it was gatefold sleeve with some great artwork they totally captivated me as a young lad.
A close second would be ‘If You Want Blood’ by AC/DC. One of the best live albums ever made and no studio overdubs (unlike some lauded live albums). Great cover too.
Remember buying Crest of a Knave...not sure which was last thoughEither Crest of a Knave, Jethro Tull or Rush, Hold Your Fire....Or it could have been Wild Frontier, Gary Moore...Good Question...Not entirely sure.
