Pills n' thrills and bellyaches on yellow vinyl and the Johnny Marr I Feel You single for record store day

Johhny Marr should be shot for ruining I feel you. He might be able to get away with singing Morriseys parts but Dave Gahan he is clearly not.
As much as I love Johnny and I'm not a fan of DM at all, I have to say that this isn't a patch on the original.

It was a long time ago now in Brighton from a second hand record store. I don't remember what it was called but it was by John Lennon. I played it a couple of times and it has never seen the light of day since. 1984 at a guess. I think it was his last album before he died.

The last new vinyl record I bought was a few years before that by the Police. Again, I can't remember what it was called but it was crap, and it has, to this day, only been played once. It had the song about the Canary in the coalmine, or whatever it was called, on it.

That's 30 odd years ago.

Plastic records are like British Leyland cars.

Best forgotten.

The Stone Roses - if only because I thought the cover was fab and it would look great on the wall

I was a student at the time and it was from a second hand record shop in Brighton in the early '80's. Double Fantasy by John Lennon.

The first new vinyl album I bought was a little earlier, which was Zenyatta Mondatta by The Police. I listened to it after I bought it, and it has never been played since.
