I might be wrong but I recall them being referred to as 'box jackets' on account of their boxy cut.Do you remember those leather jackets similar to blazers/dinner jackets in shape around the early 80’s Zin , came in all different colours ?
I remember my best mate saying his dad had one of them from his younger day hung up in the wardrobe and that he was going to wear it one night , he did and looked smart as fuck too, proper quality.
