What Was Your

totally bricking it in the Stretford end paddock at the swamp in 78 channon scored and i cheered then 1/2 second later scum cheered cos it was ruled offside very lucky escape that one phew

I think it was Charlton away (when they played at Selhurst Park) some time in the mid 80's and we got hammered.

Blackpool FA Cup 1-1 draw. 1965-66 (I think). We were second division and they were first. Jimmy Murray got our goal (I think) and we won the replay 3-0 (I think)

Bury, early sixties, around Christmas. City won, can anyone help with the score. Went on a Strowgers coach, their garage was on Greame Street, near Princess Road. The pitch was snowbound and they played with a bright orange ball, Derek Kevan scored a cracker, unusually not with his head.

i think grimsby away 83 or 84, we were late getting there and we were already 2-0 down by the time we got in, it ended up 4-1 happy days

Away to Sheffield United the season we got relegated under Ball, October 1996...lost 2-0

Paul Dickov's debut i think.

Two Old Trafford derbies in the 70s escorted by my mam and her mate who got the tickets.Still have the first one on my noticeboard at home.About a quid for a seat.First real away after the discovery that large quantities of booze and surging down terracing enhanced the experience no end,a 2-1 win at Tottenham in 85.

I don't count 'nited as an away game but i'd seen us there umpteen times from very early 70's. 'Proper' first away game was against Leicester at Filbert st. Was mid 70's but it's very hazy. Keith Weller,Alan Birchenall were playing for Leicester though i remember that.
