Of course had man been allowed to kill seals at the rate they were until the the late 1970's unabated it was possible that the animal would become extinct like a number of other marine species who were being killed in large numbers for their fur for one to make woman feel better about themselves.
Fast forward now and the harp seal and the polar bear are increasing in numbers year upon year and Al Gore's carbon footprint is on the wane with age as the left of politics change the narrative from man made green house gas , to global warming and now climate change.
