Talk to you in 25 years?Simply not true. The risk of software failure is too high. The pilot’s job will change to a more monitoring role plus recovery where necessary.
I can push a button at 200 feet off the ground and not “fly” the aircraft until it needs to turn off the runway AFTER landing RIGHT NOW. That’s the “Pilot Flying” (PF).
Now, the other person is called the “Pilot Monitoring” (PM) already.
