What will it take to win the league?

Looking at those fixtures the only two tough matches i can see are everton and united. We are more than capeable of beating the rest on our day. Just look at the results we got in those fixtures last season. The rags will drop points, its inevitable, and we just need to ensure we keep our heads down, do them at the swamp and we wont be far off at all. Keep the faith.

One game at a time, I would love to win the league again, and the FA cup, but sometimes we will have seasons where we don't win anything, it's the nature of the Prem, lots of competition on all fronts.

We are going to have to get used to this top club lark, as long as we are established at the top of the game come the end of the season

Rags won't go all season winning from a losing position. They are beatable.

I will also be astonished if Van Persil continues injury free. They will suffer when they resume CL games.

We should hope that they continue in the FA Cup via replays and also in the CL for a few more rounds.

send maicon out on loan to a prem club, we dont need him. when his club play the rags get him to snap the rapists knee in half. red card yeh and he'll be sent back in disgrace but so fucking what.

give him 1m for job done.

fucking ace

The games that basically gifted the rags this points lead , the Sunderland loss , and the home derby defeat , were disastrous for us , and have put us under pressure ...... time will tell , but the damage could already have been done ...... but we're responding well , and we have to keep going , it's not beyond us ... yet !

Belief. Fight. Never give up.

Other teams haven't given up on avoiding the drop.
Other teams haven't given up on a European place.

We just keep going.

(But I wish we'd get round to giving someone a tonking!)

A seven point lead in January is nothing like as significant a deficit as the media would have you believe. We all know how quickly leads can evaporate. We of all people, in fact,

It is what we need Spurs to do that matters. We could be 4 points behind this time next week. Throw in a win at OT and the difference would effectively be one point.

With 14 games to play for, I would say that we are in with a shot. Come on you Spurs.

-- Mon Jan 14, 2013 11:12 pm --

Too right. Weren't we 7 ahead before going 8 behind and then clawing that back?

We were never 7 ahead. Maximum was a 5 point lead (after equal games) but the media and reds tried to convince everyone it was 7 so it looked like a bigger bottle job when Utd overtook us.

Well, it could all start next weekend when we stuff Fulham and United lose at Spurs, gap then 4 points,
Stop worrying, they have two more potential injuries after last weekend, RVP just needs to get poorly in some way, job done..........!!
The arrogant streak of piddle won't carry on without an injury, his glass ankles just need a good kick off somebody...!
