What will you be happy with next season?

A group with Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Monaco and Barca in the first knockout round, plus winning the Champions league.
 
I think finishing top 4 and winning 1 trophy means you've had a great season (obviously that trophy could be the league)

Achieving just one of those, means you've had a decent season

Achieving anything above that means you've had an amazing season
 
For me it's as simple as having a team picked on merit, not ability.

Hard work beats talent, when talent isn't prepared to work hard.

That way if players like Yaya, Nasri and Dzeko want to play they have to fucking graft, no ifs, buts or maybes. If they're not prepared to battle for the opportunity then open the door and fuck them off.
 
Really want to win the league again and with style - 100+ goals.
A good run in the cups with no surprises against lower league teams - if we go out after battling well then so be it.
Europe - qualification from the group and a decent attempt to progress.
A defense with players on form making teams have to really play well to score against us.
Playing to our players strengths - if Yaya stays then getting him in dangerous areas where he can do damage rather than making him run till he drops in a two man midfield.
Sergio to stay fit all season.
The press to actually look at the way we play and give us some credit rather than the dipper and chelski love-ins we have had to put up with lately.
 
Winning the league and not losing a game all season.

I go with that too. Team players really shouldn't be giving MOTD or journalists ammunition to call them lazy.

Obviously would like to win stuff but I won't be inconsolable if we fail to do so. Just take pride in your job boys and good luck.
 
There is no guarantee we can win the trophies but just to stay in the hunt for them should be our aim and to improve in the Champions League.
 
Win the EDS Premier League for a start. Shows that the academy is starting to produce. AND f*ck off the Rags(who won it this year).

The league is a must for me. I want the FA Cup too and quarters/semis of the champs league. I don't ask for much.

In all honesty I think the team now should be at the above, so with a few additions, more pace and a little shake-up I think we'll be there. Is Pellegrini the man to take us there? No idea, but I certainly don't want another manager to come in for a year or two, I want the next man to be here for the foreseeable. This creates stability and must help the players, at al levels, understand the philosophy.

At least one from FA Cup and league Cup, either winning the PL or competitive until the last day, and QF of the Champs League - progression all round.
Think the key is the system - last 6 games we played 4-2-3-1 and won all 6.
Couple of top quality signings integrated which increases home grown quota and lowers the average age a must too.

You can't say definitive targets until you know who we and the competition buy, and therefore how strong we are relatively. Without being dull, the target is to fulfil and exceed our potential. I'm hoping that if txiki deeps his job properly, that will be the league title, because that has to be our focus, along with our first really good champions league campaign.

The rags only won it because they used it as a warm up league for their first team players coming back from injuries and for other strategic reasons (e.g. RVP, Januzaj, Lindegaard, Falcao, Rafael etc). While it's fair enough for them to do that, I would rather we keep it like we did - using it for progression of young players. The first derby game with them when we lost 4-1 at the swamp the other day summed it up for me - we were by far the more expansive and skilled side, the fact we lost so badly is not important in this league, it's a learning experience.

The same way Robben and Ribery have when we've played Bayern, the same way Sanchez does for Arsenal, the same way Milner and Navas do for us. It's called having a work ethic, if he's not physically fit enough to do it then he needs to work harder in the gym.
