what would it be like to play Millwall at Wembley?

according to my cousin who went to the cup final when they played the rags, he said there was no trouble. he said most of them took their kids as they thought it would be the one and only time they would get to wembley. i doubt they will win the replay at Blackburn though.

When Millwall played the rags it was at Cardiffs Millenium stadium, not Wembley. So if Millwall got to Wembley they would prob still take their kids as they have never been before.

Good mate of mine went with Leeds this season to Milwall.... they're not friendly in the least if what he was saying is true

I had a mate who was a big Scunthorpe fan who sadly passed away in 2010.

I went with him for a day out when Scunthorpe played Millwall in the Division 1 play off final in 2009. The Millwall fans outnumbered the Scunthorpe fans by about 4 to 1. Wembley wasn't full that day so anyone in the London area who had a remote interest in Millwall got to go.

I travelled to wembley using the tube, about 8 stops. As you can imagine we got a good look and listen to Millwall both before and after the match.

Horrible people, end of.

I have a friend who is a Swindon fan, according to him they were attacking Swindon fans before and after their play off game with them a couple of years ago at Wembley.
He said it was bad, but add "Imagine how much worse it would have been if we had won the game?"

On the pitch - fine and an easy win.
Off the pitch after- dodgy (kids or no kids in tow) !

-- Tue Mar 12, 2013 11:49 pm --

On the pitch - fine and an easy win.

I just find it hard to believe there are more than 30,000+ Millwall fans. Of course there will be, i've met a few and their dislike for us seems to be hardly reciprocated. I think they save the most of it for West Ham these days.

I acknowledge the point about their previous final attendance, and the point that people said Gillingham wouldn't fill an end back in 1999. However, ipve heard claims that a portion of the Gillingham wouldn't have been regular attendants at a match, merely there for the spectacle. That is what i'm suggesting - that they don't have 30,000+ who hold an active interest in the team.

A load of millwall fans came in the pub I was in after they had played their s/f game old Trafford a few years back. They were a nice bunch of lads. No probs whatsoever.
