I asked David White once who is mates with Quinny what is Niall’s problem with us ? Whitey said he hasn’t got a problem with City.

I think he was flogged to Sunderland by Franny when others who didn’t care about the club were kept on.

He held the club together for 7 years and went out to face the media on match of the day after the Liverpool 2-2 relegation game when Ball bottled it.

He famously said “no one told me there’d be days like this”

Never got these vibes myself. Thought he was pretty neutral. Maybe slightly against us. Probably trying to over compensate.

Also, we aren’t his favourite club; that’s got to be Sunderland.

Think he’s fine.

I'm biased when it comes to Niall Quinn. He was my hero as a kid and lucky to have met him a few times over the years. Just finished the City Podcast interview with him and think my opinion of him has got even higher.

What a shame that Sky and the media continue to platform morons and 'personalities' for likes and content. Quinn and Nedum Onouha etc would run rings around any of their 'star' pundits.

Really recommend the interview. Great for the insights on City, but also wider football and societal issues it brings up. Credit to Paul Dickov and Rob Pollard, they're putting together some brilliant episodes.
