It's an old Bluemoon wind up to claim that was Quinn.

In fact, we hooked as big a fish as the Chief Communications Officer of the City Football Group who posted in thread IIRC to assure everyone that actually it was Martin Tyler. And people still told them that they must have misheard and it was Quinn.

Nothing really against Quinn. If there was any ill will towards us it may stem from the period we were looking to offload him , suspect he was not a big fan of Franny. Did we not try and flog him to a team based in Singapore and also to someone in Portugal ? Am sure I heard comments on being unhappy at being put under pressure to take the Singapore move. Never heard him say a bad word about the fans but don't think he was impressed by the way it all ended.

For about a year I thought it was Tyler, now I think it clear as day that it’s Quinn.

Annoying this is, neither of them remember so it’ll never be solved.
