The wife came into the garage this afternoon and introduced herself to me, them promptly introduced me to all our dogs.

Hanging around. Keeping my head fairly low. I'm privileged to be able to do that. A good friend of mine, two of her daughters are nurses. One of them in particular is right in the firing line, apparently.

The mrs and me work together so technically we're at each others throats most of the time, at work though we're generally busy and I can make an excuse and fuck off for a bit or if I'm out on the road. 24 hrs under the same roof with nothing much to due is a different matter.......Its very quiet round here and the RAF are still out on their sorties and she commented on why they where flying. With eyes raised I told her they are all working home....It took a minute !!!

Still working although reduced hours.

Filling my spare time with riding my mountain bike or walking, listening to lots of music (6 music generally), watching films/box sets and cooking.

I occasionally have a chat with my wife too.

Overall though, I'm weirdly not really missing the football that much. Been happy getting a bottle of red wine in and cooking a decent meal for a Saturday night in with the wife.

Early days though to be fair so we'll in 3 or 4 weeks time how ill be getting on. Reckon I'll be craving a decent cask ale at the very least.
