What's happening with Kolo now?

I honestly don't care as it was his own stupidity and ultimately it's been a blessing in disguise. While at City,i've never rated him as a player and in alot of games he was a liability.

Lescott has had a chance to shine and taken it.

Maybe Mancini said he was going to drop him. Yaya threw a hissy fit so Bob kept him in to keep big bro happy. Then tabletgate happened and RM saw an opportunity to get his way.

The paperwork for Kolos appeal is still in his desk waiting to be posted and when anyone asks why the delay - he just puts it down to incompetance at the other end.

Everyone apart from Kolo is happy!

He'll have a hell of a job getting back in though.

You have to feel sorry for Kolo , the way things have fallen ... but the simple truth is that intentionally , or unintentionally , it was HIS actions that have prompted this investigation .... and right now he simply wouldn't shift Lescott from the first team anyway!

i can only think his eventual suspension would be backdated to the day the club suspended him so in efect he's doing his time now,

I think that's right. Something similar happened with a Scottish player whose 3 month suspension was only announced at the end of the 3 months. I remember seeing something recently that said Kolo been cleared to resume training, didnt say whether clearance was by City or the authorities, which suggests he's subject to some sort of monitoring process.

I'm sure he wasn't supposed to be training with the first team whilst this was going on until they found out whether he would serve a big ban? And all the pictures I see recently he is training with them? Does this mean City know it's not as bad as first thought or just the fact the have a lot of trust in him?

Don't hold your breath, the guy is fucked.

And I ain't being funny, but why the fuck does a professional footballer feel the need to take diet pills anyway? He trains most days, has access to a gym, is paid a ridiculous amount of money, his diet should be tip top so why is the lazy fucking prick taking his fucking wifes diet pills? Stupid fucking ****. Deserves all he gets and make no mstake about it, this guy is gonna be banned for most of next season at the least, and so he should be

He didn't take his wives diet pills. Wenger claimed that and City outright denied it.

He is 30 and might get a lenghty ban. Honestly..i dont think he will be needed when he returns (if he returns). He has already seen his best days not to mention his huge wages which are 100k+/a week i think.

We have Boateng and Boyata..both are young and getting better and i would choose them both over Kolo at the moment and in the future.

I dont rate Lescott either for the long-term. But he has done ok while Kolo has been suspended. Not to mention that we might sign another centre-back in the summer.

With that in mind, should he eventually be found guilty, would the club be within their right to rip up his contract?
