What's the best football book of all time?

I have, literally, hundreds of books I’ve yet to read but can’t wait until I get to read John Burridge’s. If you can read the first bit then do (it may give that part on Amazon). It is truly hilarious.

Just bought Alex Williams’ book. The title alone is a work of genius. Looking fwd to reading it on my holidays.

Think I remember Halifax beating rags in this in the early 70s, same day we had a friendly at Port Vale
I remember that friendly at Port Vale well, and indeed one at Doncaster the following week, when all our players looked like the hunchback of Notre Dame (heart monitors, and various medical equipment strapped on there backs!)

met and got autograph of Alex in players lounge when I was a kid - overcome with how massive he was and startled by his knuckles being scuffed to fuk obviously as his massive hands are very dark black but load of pink where there was no skin! What a top bloke he is
