What's the best you've ever seen City play?

So many as mentioned in this thread but worth a mention was the 7-0 FA cup replay win at Reading in 1968, a near perfect display that night.

Barca last season. Highest level of opposition, staggering display. Kun was unreal as a total team player.

I always remember when we played Newcastle after being promoted under Keegan in 2002.

The football we played that day was simply breathtaking and should've won by a lot more then a scruffy Huckerby goal.

Since the takeover I would go for Spurs away 2011 & 2014 hard to choose between the two.

Loved the 5-1 win against the Rags in 89, which edges the 6- 1 at the swamp for me as we were touted as cannon fodder for Fergies £ 20 million team. The 10 - 1 was great as well. But my favourite ever city win was the 6 - 2 versus Sheff Wed in 2001- absolute masterclass by Bernabia followed by a great piss-up in Sheff Utds BBC's firms own boozer. Great day out.

Middlesbrough FLC Semi Final 1976 4-0, I was only a kid but I thought that night was pure magic. If only I knew what I was letting myself in for!

6-0 at home to Portsmouth has to be up there. Robinho was unreal that day.

Special mention to Sheff Wednesday away as well.

I finished work early that day so I could go the game
Got home and the dog had eaten through the fence and escaped so had to forget the match and look for the dog all afternoon
At the time we hadn't seen us win 6-0 very often

There was a home game in the Keegan promotion season when Ali Bernarbia was sent off after a few minutes and we went on to win 2-0. I think it was against Millwall and Mark McGee their manager said that it looked like we had 12 players, not 10.

I still think of that whole season as just as enjoyable as the more recent, trophy winning ones.
