Hitman and Max Payne, i know computer game conversions usually dont do well but i thought these two had enough going on to make some good films then cue Timothy Olyphant(sp) and aload of death angel things....

I loved the Max Payne games, the film made me want to smash my illegally downloaded version. Thank fuck I didn't pay to watch that tripe.

When I saw the trailer in the cinema for the Simpsons film, I laughed out loud at 'Spiderpig', prompting several teenagers to turn round and wonder who had the audacity to break one of their unwritten cool rules. When the Spiderpig moment actually arrived in the film, there was nothing funny surrounding it, and I realised that I'd watched the best few seconds in the trailer. Letdown. I managed to pull through.

I quite liked it. But the experience was a bit of a let down as i watched it in Sweden. It was subtitled meaning the audience could read the Swedish subtitles quicker than homer could talk. This meant that the whole cinema were laughing early. This also meant that one lone Englishman laughed in the correct places. Two seconds after everyone else. Have you ever sat in a full cinema with everyone looking at you?

Biggest letdown? Most of the superhero films of recent times apart from Iron Man. The Hulk could have been superb.

Independance day.
After all the hype it really was just a pile of old shite.

In fact, an awful lot of movies are hyped up and when you come to watch them, because of the publicity, it ends up being a real let down.

"Four Weddings and a Funeral" is a typical example.

For me the film that disappointed the most recently was the new karate kid ! I was looking foward to it coz i was a big fan of the old one and it was o.k but just had nothing on the original ( which i know is often the case but you can hope )Actually watched the old ones at the weekend ..... brilliant !!
