Whats the funniest transfer rumor youve seen?

The funniest transfer of all time was Bill Williams from Stockport to City and then back again about a week later...evidently a ploy to help out County with the tax man.
 
When Ray Harford took over from Dalglish at Blackburn he had a chance to sign a young Zinedine Zidane?

He went to Jack Walker to ask for funds and Jack replied " What do we want him for? we have got Tim Sherwood"!!!

made me laugh when I heard the story.
