It must sound weird but I'm not a massive fan of the champions league at all. I want Spurs to be in the competition (I enjoyed the last run) but I find it very boring these days and overhyped. The Europa just seems a joke to me.

I don't get excited much for the world cup but seem to enjoy the Euro a lot more

As for the domestic game, my favourite is the FA cup, that probably makes me sound a bit nostalgic rather than some of the stuff they put on show these days. I think the dissapointment of 87 cup final and then watching Gazza in 91 just was amazing, but the worst part is I thought I'd see a lot more FA cup wins after that. Although that is my favourite competition, I'd want to win the league the most, you have to have that consistency over the season and I don't believe luck can carry you all the way. The only thing I don't like about the premier league is that you get told every other week it's the best league in the world, the absurd wages and talk of the top 4 of being the holy grail. As for the league cup, it's considered a joke but I don't mind the thing too much, if you lose you can call it a mickey mouse cup, if you win it's a medal!

So what's your favourite competition overall? Your favourite in the domestic game, Europe and international?!

You'll find quite a lot on here can't stand the Champions League.

The premier league is definitely my favourite.

Mine would go:

1) Championship
2) FA cup
3) Premiership
4) Europa League
5) Champions League
6) League cup
.
.
.
.
infinity) Charity Shield

I prefer division one (championship) as a league because it's so unpredictable. I put a bet on Wigan going up in August. Never in a million years would I have penned them going down with that run of form they had at the end of last season, Rosler steering the ship; nevermind predicting Bournemouth to be the ones replacing them in the automatic playoff places.

Obviously I'd much rather city were in the top league, but I definitely keep an eye out every saturday for the championship scores and watch the FL show when it's on.

FA cup is pure nostalgia, League cup I find hard to care about when everyone plays their reserved until the semis, Premiership's alright, Europa league is good fun but only when you're in it, CL is stale and boring .

Charity shield I literally couldn't give a shit about. I don't know how the hell some clubs count it in their 'list of trophies'. It's literally a one-odd friendly - why on earth should it count. It was confirmed to me that I couldn't give a shit when United beat us in the last minute I wasn't even arsed. Normally I'd descend into a black cloud of anger for a week after a last-minute united loss.

To be fair to United they apparently "taught us a footballing lesson" in winning that first game of the season in the dying moments... Surprising, wasn't it, that they were so pissed off when we proved such apt pupils in the last game of the season?

Anyway, to answer the OP:

1) The Premier League
2) The FA Cup
3) The World Cup
4) The Chumps League
5) The European Championships
