Whats your mood regarding City right now?

I watched the away game at Villa and thought what the fuck is this shit, especially as Pellegrini had one of his brain farts when Bony got injured early doors and he replaced him with Navas.

Since that game I have watched us play some shocking stuff especially against the top teams in the Prem, the Club should have got shut of the manager at Christmas.

My frustration with the way we are playing has given way to a palpable undercurrent of excitement for next season. Still time to salvage something from this one though and I recall that Stoke game shortly after York away when the whole momentum of the season changed in a matter of minutes. Football can be like that.

Even if it doesn't there's so much to look forward to and the rise back to the top is always more enjoyable than the struggle to stay there.

Still pissed off with the attitude of our players last night , they never looked up for it .Had they been on the sauce since Sunday night ? Some of them looked as though they had .

Liverpool blew us away again , can't think of another side that has so comprehensively beaten us in the two games since we became rich .

7-1 , I mean 7-1 !!! Embarrassing !!

I said this over on another thread but il say it on my own one:

We are going through a very unique situation where by everyone knows the manager is leaving and exactly who replacing him. I think this hasn't helped us. Pellers has been given lots of stick but he has just won us another cup and more or less already got us to our first ever CL quarter final. I think we will start to pick up points again not only finish top four but also be in with a shout of the league title. Everyone needs to take a step back and look at what a great situation we are actually in currently AND what a fantastic looking future we have.

Chill blues, we have Kompany.

Especially when it happens twice, ffs. But next season will indeed be top!. Bit of a rebuild job on, though.

Truth be told, I was angrier with the draw to Villa than I am about the hammerings from Liverpool. I can't stand not winning games that we dominate.

Top 4 and a trophy this season will be a success , but the old lady is losing her looks rapidly and needs replacing with a younger prettier POA.

Boycott games until Pellers is gone for ffs. The youth played better against Chelsea than the team played yesterday after playing 3 games in 8 days and he won't be bothered to even think of playing one of them since.

My feeling is one of slight concern but lets not get too knee jerky. Those above us are doing us favours by being as inconsistent as we are (which admittedly we need to be taking advantage of), but we won a trophy this week and if you'd have offered me a dominant win in Kiev, a cup final win and then a loss in the league I'd have bitten your hand off!

Just spent 3 fantastic nights in a hotel room overlooking Wembley, watched my team play a great 120 mins of football and then beat the scousers, who I have hated since I was a kid, in a penalty shoot out that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

It will take a while to come down from that, no matter what happens.

Unusually I am looking forward to more Champions League football , normally my least favourite comp.

The Prem is a wonderful competition this year with teams, including ours, lacking consistency. Who knows what will happen? There are plenty of ups and downs to come. The best thing is that though it doesn't look good for us, more than likely the rags, scousers ,chavs and Leeds (!) will not win it.

We will make top three and with a slice of luck maybe a Champions league final.

Then, before you know it , it's next season already.

You may have realised that my mood is good.

Tell me what you're smoking mate, I'll have some!

Ever optimistic me, which has always been my trouble. Relegated to the third division. Shall I stop going? It's only a 400 mile round trip so no, I'll stick with it, as I always have. Same season and 0-2 against Gillingham in injury time. Could we still win? Not a chance!
It's 2002/03 and 13 years without winning a derby. Do I go to Maine Road thinking we can win? Of course I do.
2008, beaten 8-1 and some very dodgy geezer in charge of the club. Bankruptcy looms and it really could be the end of the club and, for me, football would be over.
8 points behind with 6 games left and we're doomed. 5 games later and the sun won't stop shining. Then it's 1-2 against QPR, in injury time. Was this going to be the worst day of watching football in my life? Definitely.
Fast forward 2 years and Liverpool not only turn into Brazil but turn us over. We then can't beat Sunderland and it's really all over. Just need to win 3 games in a week to win it again. Can we do it? Apparently so.
I've seen all the above and six relegations. I've seen 10 goals at home all season (and none after New Years Day).
Although playing poorly, with a manager who looks out of fresh ideas and players unwilling or unable to step up and take responsibility, as we are currently 4th, 9 points behind with 11 games left, and have one of the most highly regarded coaches in world football taking over in 3 months, my mood regarding City right now, is one of unbridled optimism.
What a club this is. Love it or love it, you can't help but fucking love it.

Anything other than a premier league title is a failure, especially considering how bad every other team is
