To have any chance we need to go on a run immediately. Starting with the dippers away a few days after Cup Final. Also have rags at home soon and Chelski away. Win those three games and maybe we have a chance. But hey I agree no need to get depressed just yet anyway

And I’ll second that. A fit Vinny and we’ll go on an unbeaten league run ’til end of season and win the fucking thing, putting all the naysayers, doom merchants and pessimistic, no-balls fans firmly in their place.

I am picking Up an uptick in Silva's performance. A reason to be optimistic. Just need to start playing yaya from the bench. Komps stays fit. Could be interesting
 
I've been telling myself for 4 months now that we will turn it around and get back to playing the football we have all come to love watching. However, i'm now resigned to the fact that it probably isn't going to happen. It would be great if we can beat Liverpool and lift a trophy, but other than that i'm expecting very little else this season now.

If Guardiola has got a clause in his contract about not coming to us if we are not in the top four then I definitely don't rate him!! If a manager is coming to Manchester City I want one who is 100% committed to our team/club without any get out clauses. Get out clauses mean he hasn't got faith in our club. IMHO
 
Vinny's return and the injustices we have suffered recently should drive the team on to a good end of season , a consistent back four selection an energetic committed midfield , (with either merlin or yaya on the bench) , and two up front , (nacho and aguero) , and go and play the game from the 1st minute , will get us very close to a couple of trophies. Would love to ram all the negatives the media are commenting , write down their throats.
 
Terribly frustrated. I feel we've made some poor decisions in terms of player recruitment, going back to 2012. For what we've spent, and the great players we do have, we should really be looking at a fifth title in a row and an additional FA Cup.

Right now I'm frustrated by the injuries and lack of desire shown by many players, how slow and predictable we've become.

Pep can't arrive soon enough.

Down right pissed off and fearing the worst! I'm just hoping vinny coming bk might just drag us through this poor run of results! But you just expect another injury! And we can't trust Manuel to get it right tactics wise and selection wise!

Its crying out for this. I think we will see it in of the 3 games coming up. I predict we will win that game. And hopefully convince pellers.
 
Considering our signings in the summer and seemingly getting some big name targets (sterling, de Bruyne, otamendi) and our first five games I'm still shocked and bewildered at what the fuck has happened this season!?!!
 
well seeing as we are still in with a chance of winning the premier league. in the league cup final. last 16 of champions league with a favourable tie. still in the FA cup. the best manager in the world is coming to us in june... so i would say i am pretty happy atm to be a city fan.

The injuries definitely haven't helped Karen in fairness. Having vinny, Nasri, de Bruyne, silva and Sergio out for long periods of time have taken its toll but then again playing yaya in a midfield two constantly has taken its bloody toll as well!!!
 
I'm still strangely optimistic about a league and carling cup double.
Would rather chase teams than be chased league wise.
Not as optimistic for Sunday tho.
As for champs league.....getting to the semi finals would be serious progress.
