I'm with you mate, pound nuggets in a metal box. Going without a pint or two that you don't even really want at the end of the night adds up very quickly.St Helens Blue (Exiled) said:Here's a little tip for you which is what I do each year....Put all my 50pence pieces and 20 pence pieces in my huge blue moon money box... Believe me you won't miss it and it soon mounts up..I had £245 saved up when I counted last week. Went straight in the bank ready for the 7th June...The difference is paid for by overpaying my gas and electricity bill each month via direct debit-So instead of paying £70 per month I pay £135.....When I got my quarterly I was £580 in credit (Dont forget you hardly use your heating for 6 months of the year). Got a refund of £250 and thats my platinum paid for in the South upper of £505!!!! Believe me fellas when it comes around each year you will be chuffed not having to find 500 big ones. Pay for my lads birthday/easter money etc...
Re zebra finance...little tip...If you can get a zero % credit card if you can so at least you dont have to pay interest...
And no I am not a financial advisor!!!!!!

I asked the same question over the phone and nobody at the club could tell me. I always prefer to go down in person and pay, had too many shocking experiences by other methods, ticket no-shows, queues, lengthy phone calls etc.bookiesgirl said:i take it you can go to the ground and renew when the take that concerts are finished.
Excellent idea saving up losse change that's how I managed to pay nearly half towards last seasons ticket the rest paid for by doing a bit overtime, I still have a massive saving jar and all my change at the end of each day gets chucked in there. My Tip tho avoid them Coinstar machines not only am I convinced they under count but they charge you aswell, I get loads of coin bags from my bank then spend hours counting it all and bagging it up then pay it my account, bit of a pain in the Arse but better than getting ripped off by a machine.
i think barclays is a bank that has coin counting machinesThe Fat el Hombre said:I was told that some banks have coin machines now and that they don't charge a fee? My mrs got me a money jar that counts your money for crimbo, I've got 93 quid in at the moment so I need to go and cash it in this weekend so I can use it for my ST. Only problem is I'm gonna feel a bit of a **** cashing in 93 quids worth of coins, so could do with getting to the bank early before it gets busy (that's if these non-fee coin machines exist)
