I'm pretty sure we charged B'Ham a fee for taking Hart on loan, so we probably made a bit on him, before that it would be Charlie and Barton I think.

Arsenal are probably the best in the transfer market (commercials wise). They actually make profits on players all the time.
They have decent scouts, decent coaching staff and a decent manager. So they spot raw talent, develop it, milk the rewards and sell on at a profit. The list of players they have done that with is endless. Over the past 4 or 5 years, their *net* spend in the transfer market has been *zero*! They have funded all of their acquisitions from profit on sale of other players.
Unlike us, who have pissed away a massive fortune. Since we've had some money, we have bought a lot of decent players, fucked them about and turned them shite and sold them for buttons. Total cock up all over the place.
Hopefully under Mancio, this will stop.
