I get more emotional these days because SWMBO has a life changing medical condition.. it's life but some days I wish it was somebody else's.. meaning I wish she hadn't been the one affected

About 3 months ago now. Had to phone my ex about changing a billing address, Heard her kid who I bought up calling out 'is that daddy' - ex said no to her. broke my heart.

Really terrible news that. Can't even begin to imagine how terrible you feel. 47 is no age to die. Take care blue.I lost my wife within the last year suddenly through an heart attack aged only 47.Having not cried for years I certainly do now regularly.
Today. Doing some early spring cleaning of those catch-all-drawers, I have a couple. There's a bag of things in it from my Mum's house. Her bus pass and also a bunch of cards/letters I'd sent her over the years, whilst living over 4,000 miles away. She passed away over 3yrs ago now, talking about her I'm totally fine but when I find things like that, it bout rips me.

My sister’s funeral about 18 months ago. The last time before that, my girlfriend’s funeral just under three years ago.
I’m not a huge crier, which I view as a slight shortcoming on my part. Nothing massive, as I’m anything but emotionally repressed, but I think I should cry a bit more time I do.
