I think Roma's Daniel Dell Rossi will be a City player by the middle of Jan to provide Mancini with a rotation option for Ya Ya (if you haven't noticed Ya Ya has been pretty much an ever present in Mancini teams). Rossi is six months away from the end of his contract and according to the Italian press we are talking to him (this reached the British press Mail and Star at the weekend). No resale value in 5 years time but not much of a fee either. It depends how much Roma want to let him go a few months earlier.

Tremendous purchase if true.

Huge litmus test for our midfield. We may not Yaya back until late f
February as most managers give a few weeks to rest. If we are considering a bid for another midfield (Martinez or de Rossi) we should make it happen as early as possible. There'll be close to 10-12 matches they'll both miss and that's a lot of stress on essentially 3 different players.

I don't have huge confidence in Hargo. I hope he proves me wrong.

There was mention by Platt early in the season they leave around 14th Jan for around 3-4 weeks
