What always makes me laugh the most is that it is a virtually certainty that those who display the most viciousness on this topic will almost certainly be those that shout the loudest when other fans sing/say similar things about something City related.

Nail on the head there JMA.
We dont want your sort at are club u 2 are the one"s that are giving manchester city a bad name and you wont be getting an invite to are party! so what do you think about that mr cheesy and mr maddock?

Gutted, personally.

I detest the man's hypocrisy, crass behavior, and expectation of favoritism from both league and UEFA, not to mention his on- and off-the-field tactics...

But to celebrate his death? I just do not understand this. He has done nothing worthy of that sort of reaction to his passing. Franco, Magabe, Pol Pot, Gaddafi, Pinochet all did or will deserve this sort of happiness upon their demise, but why Fergie? It just makes very little sense.

Erm, I'm not sure what I think about that tbh with you.

Perhaps if you wrote it in English I might be able to give you an answer.
you won"t be getting a invite to are party easy to understand, when your at home all miserable and sad we will be having a cracking day eating jelly and ice cream, fireworks, bouncy castles, there"s still enough time to change your mind cheesy!

I think he means it should read "our party" not "are party" lol.

Any news yet?

I wasn't going to write this because i thought this thread was shite, but i have had a change of heart.

While there seems to be more negativity about the song or people's plans saying that its disgusting etc etc, maybe some can look at it from a different point of view.

There is no doubt about Fergie's credentials as a manager. And as a manager he has done everything he can in the game. The fact that some City fans are willing to party when his death arrives can be seen from a different view point.

The view point of respect and awe. Do you really think City fans would want to throw a party if he was an unsuccessful manager? No. The reason heis death will be celebrated is not just out of sheer hatred but out of respect. Fergie has set a bench mark for other clubs to follow, domestically especially. I will party the day he dies, and i hope alot of Blues will, and while i detest the man and everything he stands for, i cant help respect what the man has achieved for over 20 years.

Party on guys

Just another example proving that every football club has a cross section of society as their fanbase and, as such, those that make up the dregs of society will revel in such nonsense.

Some of the comments on this thread are ridiculous.

What always makes me laugh the most is that it is a virtually certainty that those who display the most viciousness on this topic will almost certainly be those that shout the loudest when other fans sing/say similar things about something City related.

Don't get me wrong though, I think the man is a tosser but anyone who seriously wishes death on someone because of their attitude towards football is almost certainly going nowhere in life -yeah, yeah, someone will be seething about that comment, no doubt, I know. Seems harsh, but think about the sort of person, sense of perspective and mentality that leads you to that. Put aside the prats who spout such nonsense because it gives them a false sense of bravado, the people who genuinely mean it are fucked up.

The club are addressing this, though. With the matchday gestapo. Yes, they do make mistakes, but the majority of ejections are justified. It's a myth that the barbaric days of the seventies were the only way to create an atmosphere. And these days will never come back so move on. The club are trying to promote a family atmosphere that is fun for all and not sinister or unpleasant for people who bring their kids.

The 'party when fergie dies' is mostly good humoured with people laughing along, but it's the ones who sing it with pure venom and the veins popping out of their necks who are the most concerning. The plea to fans to put a stop to the Munich chants from former players and the manager is absolutely correct. There is nothing to gain from it, and it's this same minority who make all the headlines and caused many innocent fans to end up with bloodied noses on Wembley way.

Back to the OP. Fergie is 69, and he is not dying. He will probably retire next year and gradually disappear into the role of cutting ribbons at charity events. Another manager will come in, and he will be the next hate figure, and then the man after him....then one day in 15-20 years time an old ex football manager will die in a hospital bed up in Scotland, and you will say to your kids, "Yeah, I remember him....he was a right ****!"

The end

Just gonna say one thing on this....

If you celebrate the death of anyone you are a complete & utter ****.

Knew it wouldn't be long before you entered the thread, Mr Moral.

Anyway, look at my location...it's just a song and I won't be having a party when he dies, nor will I be eating jelly & ice cream.

You must be fun at away games, Cheesy.
