I think it's a decent enough song but never thought idiots would take it seriously enough to get wound up by it, thinking that people take the meaning literally.

For the record, I never believed Ireland WAS actually Superman nor do I think Giggs has got AIDS or that he was born out of wedlock.

It's funny how JMA keeps complaining about the working class being priced out by corporate culture yet a song sung by working class people at games suddenly means they are the "dregs of society".
