Can we have something like this?

and you'd probably want to only pay a fiver so
we can fill it. lets fill the little one we have now more than
three times a season and they might extend it with another
5 thousand seats, nothing looks worse than a half full stadium
where you can actually hear each individual persons voice shouting
or in our case boooooooooooooo ing :-0

Spurs have a big waiting list and they have to pay to be on the list - only a fiver I think.
They will fill it and get about £3M a game - about the same as Arsenal.

the interesting bit...

"With a waiting list for season tickets of over 22,000 and club membership levels of over 70,000, our need for an increased capacity stadium has been clear for all to see for some time," said Levy.

Exactly.

I can't believe those people who are saying COMS shouldn't be expanded. 45k against fulham, 6k up on last season. Once we're in the top 4 on a regular basis and winning trophies, our support/attendances will rocket and we will need a larger stadium. As for the glory Hunters, who's to say they won't become regular fans/season ticket holders once they are hooked and see entertaining and winning football every other week.

If we're going to be a 'big' club, so to speak, we can't always rely on ADUG. Our fan base and revenue from matches has to increase. Keep the capacity as it is and the club, team and the fans won't move on.

am i the only one who thinks it looks shit?
Well it certainly pisses all over our drab, half-arsed effort of a stadium.

i dont think it does at all? ours just needs abit of work doing on it. nothing wrong with it at all...

I suspect an extension will depend on whether the City of Manchester Stadium being selected as one of the grounds used for the World Cup in 2018. My belief is the club need to work closely with the council to get the area outside the stadium ready before they push forward with an expensive extension that is probably not needed at this stage.
