When is it time for a change?

Those calling for bringing more kids through, tell me one who has come through in the last year who looks even close to being ready? Youngsters coming in need time and patience. From what I've read here those are commodities in short supply on BM, witness the abuse Rico Lewis is getting.
McAtee???? Is he world class, no. But has he experience in the Prem, yes and he has ten times the legs of someone like Gundo. How he isn’t worth even a few mins at present is beyond me

Handily Zulu is on TV currently.
Wouldn't want to have been there with some on here - not much siege mentality around!!
We're in a shit spot of our own making - but reminded my daughter she's seen much worse and she's only feckin 32!!!!
Who's out there that's gonna take what we have and improve it - look at Amorim he's hardly pulling up trees over there is he???
I'd look at getting the new DoF in now though rather than waiting - let him work within the setup for 6 months for a smoother transition before we spunk cash

Pep will evolve his tactics, he's done it before. He can't do it though with a constantly changing half-injured first XI. A couple of new players in January (more would be nice but it's unlikely), a few back from injury and a little stability and we'll be fine. We'll make the 40 points and then kick on after a good summer window.

My only concern is that the last few transfers have been dogshit in all honesty. There is only Gvardiol who looks even close to being good enough.

I’m firmly in the academy kids camp. But not right at this stage to be blooding them in. Mine is definitely more of an observation over the last few seasons when we were absolutely dominant and the kids were used sparingly to say the least. Lots of opportunities at 3/4/5 up that weren’t used. Many have moved on and a lot to some impressive success.

I’ve said elsewhere but Viana needs to look at this with some serious long term planning to make sure we are fully utilising it for our squad as well as our bottom line. There will no doubt be kids in the academy capable of coming in and helping long term. Anyone with half a brain could see Lavia and Palmer were premier league level with a high ceiling of potential and all squads need that sort of potential. We were patient with Foden and should be doing that more often. For my money Rico is being overplayed ironically, but the squad balance is a million miles off it at the moment.

I knew we were shit when we were shit, so could deal with it.

I knew we were good when we were good so just loved every minute of it.

This, right now. The most confused I’ve been as a blue.
This 100%

Something is happening, something really is, and I don't believe it's the 115 etc

But this cannot continue.

Fuck me is this a joke thread, the blokes done what the scotch **** could never do win 4 on the bounce that’s all I’m saying I’ll get banned if I say any more

I think that the players have lost faith in Pep's tactic. It is very difficult to get back from here.

People are talking about big rebuild but with current FFP regulations I doubt we can have as many big signings as we wish in one summer. So the majority of the squad still have to stay for one or two windows. It might be easier to get another coach to see if he can bring out the better side of the squad.

Just my opinion
