When is it time for a change?

There is analysis of the whole season and there is all the slagging off of players when they are playing with injuries to help cover those who really cant play . The op wants a pep out discussion whatever he says, he has limited options and some untried teenagers are not going to save us , there is plenty of reasons why we are having a bad time , i wont repeat them AGAIN . He is not making the players fuck up their chance or make individual mistakes
Then, discuss the why and how of both the dip and the rebirth, because those of us who have only been watching football for about 55yrs are thinking that Pep’s Achilles heel, even with “his players” at full strength now, has been found and change is needed…not in the coach’s seat, but in the coach’s head.

We are too slow, too ponderous, too predictable for the Premier League in 2024/25 and 25/26, in my opinion.

How do you see it? Is Pep too stubborn to change, does he not need to change, or will he change?

I think the player profile needs to be adjusted slightly, so that we maintain high technical ability, but in bigger, stronger, faster players who will improve our current level.

Nobody can win everything every season. Some supporters never see their team win anything at all and it’s not that long since we belonged in that group. If you’re not happy with the current losing run then fuck off and support someone else. You’ve had it massively good for the last few years and now is the time to suck up the bad times again for as long as you need to.

If we don’t strengthen in January, or if we do strengthen but the results don’t improve then there is a slight chance he would walk in March time, but I really don’t see it happening.

He loves the club and he wants to leave us in a stable position with a healthy squad for the next manager. Yes he has made some massive errors in this terrible run, especially his horrible treatment of McAtee and the other youngsters, but he needs new players. I just can’t see him leaving until he’s had a fair crack with new bodies.

The only thing is, I’m not quite as sure that he’ll be able to get us back to the top before he leaves, that might be a job for the next guy

Form since we went top at the end of October would see us rock bottom. No escaping that. But form is temporary. The question is how temporary.
What I can say is that I’d rather we were relegated than sack Pep.
You’d rather our club relegated? WTF?!

I firmly believe that if and when the time comes that Pep isn't the best manager for us he'll make that decision before the club will.
