When is the financial report out?

I thought it was going to be out last Friday but obviously not. We won't be overtaking United this year but we will next year (i.e. this current financial year). Never in my wildest dreams did I think that would be possible. They'll be reporting £560-580m and I reckon we'll be reporting something like £630-650m, maybe even a bit more. And if they don't even qualify for the EL next season, those figures are going to be much closer to £500m the following year, possibly even slightly under that.

Good to see you back and good timing with the imminent arrival of this years figures :)

Prediction for revenue this year? I know it was leaked as being >£600mil a couple of weeks or so ago and I think Tolmie said the same thing. An increase of £100mil in 1 year looks a bit much.

If accurate it would be hilarious - only c£25mil behind the rags - and the fume will be delicious particularly with the FFP/CAS stuff still lingering away.

One interesting thing I've spotted is a charge in early July secured against Puma sponsorship income. Looks to me the facility is for up 2 years of Puma income. Suggests the owner isn't putting his hand in his pocket again unlike the surprise £50 odd million at the time of the Laporte purchase.

PB said on the last page he expected 560-580M this year.

I expect something in the region of £560m for City in the about-to-be-announced results for the year to June 2019. I'd be delighted if it was £600m this year but can't see it unless there's something huge in commercial revenue or profits on transfers that me and another analyst I've spoken to, who believes it will be in the same ballpark, have missed. That £560-580m is United's estimate for the current year's revenue, according to Woodward, so that'll be released this time next year, when I believe we'll be reporting well in excess of £600m revenue.

If they're still in the football doldrums then, the caff will be a great place to be. The howls of anguish as the truth dawns on them that they're going backwards while we've overtaken them in financial terms, as well as football, will be a joy to behold.

The rest of football will just say it's a con.
