When was your first season ticket and when were they introduced at City ?

Got my first season ticket for my 8th birthday, I'm 24th August birthday and that was my present every year for the season starting. Best present ever

Early to mid sixties, City had a inside forward called David Shawcross who was a good mate of my Dads, I was only 8 or 9 but he gave me his club season ticket, it was on the half way line about 10 rows behind the Directors box. Used it for a couple of years then Dave got a bad injury and never really recovered, think he moved onto County. My fitst match as a paying customer was in 63 aginst Dirty Leeds. Watched from behind the scoreboard end goal. Jack Charlton had his nose caved in and came and stood right besides me while the Sponge man did his bit. Now I have all that out of the way , I don't have a clue when I bought my first ST

First season ticket was 1975 season in the Platt Lane. Over the years saw some special and some forgettable goals. How uncomfortable were those benches but when you are young it’s all relative.

81/82 in the junior blues section of the platt lane. Think it was about £30. After a couple of seasons moved to the kippax

First game was in 1978 with my fist season ticket the following season. Kippax, then a couple years in the North Stand then back to the Kippax. My old fella played a lot of football then ran a few very good amateur sides so never went to the games. It was left to a guy down the street who was a big City fan to take me along with his son. For that I am grateful although there were times in the 80's and 90's it didn't always feel like that.

My Dad used to take me from the age of about 3 or 4 to odd games throughout the season during the 90' and early 2000's, but got my first season ticket aged 15 in the 2007/08 season, £95 it was. Worked out at £5 a game. I remember the first game of the season against Derby County on a Monday night, Michael Johnson scored a beauty and we went on to win 1-0.

Mine was when they seated the North Stand, I think that would have been about 1972 had been going from 1959 with my Dad

Remember it well. It was my dads last ever game before he died 2 months later.

He took me to my first game at MR around 76/77. I can't remember who it was.

My first away game was at Everton around 78. I then went to a game at the old Burnden Park. I think Steve Daley played and may have scored. 1-0 win.

Shame he missed all this. He would have loved it. He did see the 60's and early 70's glory years though.
