When will City pass Utd's revenue?

United and Liverpool fans proudly claim that their revenue has been generated by their on-field success over the years, but seem unable to accept that City's revenues are now also growing as a result of our on-field success.
Always remind a United fan that tells you that who James W Gibson was. Then follow it up with the unforgettable rhyme. “Every time you fill up your car you help city buy a star.” Believe me for years they have that in there heads whenever they touch a petrol pump

Our revenue being larger than the Rags isnt really a concern for me , they will always have 659m fans of which 99% of them are plastic sofa surfers , similar to the scousers they have built their following over a few decades.
It would be agreeable if we did have the biggest and best in the world , but i wont lose any sleep over it , l quite like being the noisy neighbours and the Sheik's plaything then in ten years time when the 'istree clubs , Premier league , UEFA & the media wake up and then realise our history and standing in the game and all the records we have broken is the reality.

Aye, success is definitely the factor for most sponsors. We are playing in the biggest games every season, title deciders, CL etc.

The one where you could argue the size of the clubs global fanbase makes the difference is kit manufacturer, but our Puma deal is a similar level now anyway. And there’s noway they are a related party under anyones description.

It's amazing what 10 years of success can do. Imagine what the difference would have been if we had favourable coverage and united hadn't.

Similarly Leicester have now overtaken 'bigger' clubs like Everton due to having success.
